Pa Sportsbooks
Few cities have fans that are as passionate about sports as those in Pittsburgh.
From the player fan clubs that sprung up in the 1970s, like Bradshaw’s Brigade and Lambert’s Lunatics – adding to the legend of Steelers Nation – to the incredible active sellout streak of the Penguins dating all the way back to 2007, there is a lot to be proud of.
It’s hard not to think of Pittsburgh and instantly conjure up images of its iconic athletes, like Mean Joe Green and Troy Polamalu, Roberto Clemente and Willie Stargell, or Mario Lemieux and Sidney Crosby.

Address: | 777 Casino Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15212 |
Located on the Ohio River just a short walk from Heinz Field and PNC Park, the Rivers Sportsbook inside the Rivers Casino (which opened in 2009) offers a beautiful setting, proximity to the city’s top sports venues, and staffed hours that total 104 per week.
If you happen to be there and looking to place a bet during the few hours a day they aren’t staffed, there are self-service kiosks to fill in the void.
All major team sports and boxing bets were available upon the sportsbook’s original opening at the tail end of 2018. And new sports are being added to the menu all the time. They’re also taking point spread, moneyline, parlay bets, and over/under bets.
The venue is part of the Rush Street Gaming family of casinos based out of Chicago. Rush Rewards members can accrue points by gambling in the sportsbook.

Online/mobile sports betting in PA
Mgm Sportsbook Pa
Online wagering is live in Pennsylvania. But as per the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board rules, operators can only offer online and mobile PA sports betting apps in partnership with brick-and-mortar operations.
All but one of the Pennsylvania casinos have applied for the license to go live with online sports gambling. And as long as a player is within the state borders, they will be able to play at all of them when the products are released.
The online sportsbooks currently available in Pennsylvania are:
Barstool Sportsbook Pa
- DraftKings Sportsbook
- FOX Bet Sportsbook
No matter how far away from any of the above locations you are, as long as you are physically within the borders of Pennsylvania, you will be able to sign up for an account and place sports wagers.
Note that the PGCB only allows a single skin for mobile sportsbooks. While a casino might release several different apps for online poker, slots, or table games, there will only be a single app for each sportsbook.
Look for them to be branded specifically to the casino and sportsbook operator.
